SurahKids ("we", "our") is a learning app that helps children understand the meaning of Quran surahs. We are committed to protecting the privacy of children and families. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

Information we collect

• Account information: a parent's email address (for login and account recovery) and the child's first name (to personalize the experience).
• Learning progress: stars, streaks, surahs completed, and words learned — stored to your account.
• Profile photo (optional): if a parent chooses to upload one, it is stored privately and shown only inside the app.

What we do NOT do

• We do not show third-party advertising.
• We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs that track children.
• We do not sell or share personal information.
• We do not collect precise location, contacts, or device identifiers for tracking.

How we use information

Solely to provide the app: authenticate the account, save learning progress, sync across devices, and (if a parent purchases) unlock premium content. Sign in with Google is optional and only shares your email/name to create the account.

Children's privacy (COPPA / GDPR-K)

SurahKids is designed for children with parental involvement. Accounts are created by a parent/guardian. We collect the minimum data needed and never use it for advertising or profiling.

Payments

The optional one-time purchase is processed by our payment provider (Apple In-App Purchase on iOS, or Dodo Payments on other platforms). We do not store card details.

Data retention & deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account, which permanently removes your account, learning data, and any uploaded photo. You may also email us to request deletion.
